The information is provided by Northern Confectionary Ltd and while we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Whitakers Chocolates Limited takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.



We rely on a third party for all our deliveries and therefore are unable to guarantee delivery dates. Occasionally during busy periods there can be delays which are beyond our control but we will inform customers of any issues that we are aware of.

The majority of parcels are sent with Royal Mail or Parcel Force.

Our Delivery Terms

£5.00 - Standard UK Mainland Delivery (3 – 5 days) or *FREE over £60

*FREE when you spend £60 refers only to transactions made through our online shop and doesn’t include personalised favours (UK Mainland only)

Free UK Delivery does not include Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or Scottish Highlands, where additional charges apply. Enter your address on the checkout page to find the shipping cost to your address.

Please allow 3 - 5 working days for delivery.

We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro, unfortunately we do not currently accept American Express.

When placing an order please enter the registered billing address for your credit or debit card correctly to ensure a prompt service. 

We use a secure payment gateway called Sagepay which uses encrypted data to ensure your transactions are secure, a padlock icon will show up in the bottom right corner to indicate that you are in a secure area.


Pricing and Products

All prices quoted are in “£” sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

We reserve the right to make changes to our prices and products at any time without giving notice. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. We do our utmost to ensure we have high levels of stock however if for any reason a product you have ordered is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible.



Every effort is made to ensure our products reach you in perfect condition, however, we know issues can happen, so if an item is damaged or faulty on arrival, please contact us immediately on receipt of the goods with proof of damage and details so we may investigate further.

Personalised products cannot be returned unless faulty, all artwork for personalised items is sent for approval, we will not be liable for any spelling or design changes that were not pointed out before confirming.

If you are not entirely satisfied with a non personalised product for some reason other than it being damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately stating your reason for the dissatisfaction. If there is a problem with the product we will refund the purchase price or send a replacement, if however we deem the product to be in a perfect condition then we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the goods.


Your Account

When you place an order with us you can checkout as a guest or you may want to create a user account in order to make future purchases a much simpler process. To do this we will need to collect certain information about you, this will include your name, address, contact telephone number and e-mail address. We will also collect credit or debit card information in order to process payments, however this is through a secure server and the details are not stored. When you open an account you will need to create a username and password in order to access your account, please keep this information confidential as Northern Confectionary Ltd cannot be held responsible for any misuse of your account. Please inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe your account is being used in an unauthorised manner. 


A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site.

Cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
